The Tennessee Research, Education, and Computing Collaborative is a consortium of over 15 member institutions across Tennessee dedicated to energizing and improving research cyberinfrastructure (CI) in the state. Participating institutions range from research-intensive R1s to teaching-focused community colleges. TRECC’s members are deans of engineering, CI center directors, system administrators, research computing and data facilitators, librarians, and faculty.

Apart from bi-weekly meetings where we have invited talks from members of the regional and national community on topics of interest, we have the following working groups with a common goal of advancing CI excellence in Tennessee:

  • Security
  • Creating a CaRCC Capabilities Model for Tennessee
  • Developing Cyberinfrastructure Plans for participating institutions
  • Building a TRECC website and repository to facilitate knowledge sharing
